This certainly speaks for itself.Many people can start a debate on the morality of abortion. Yes ,abortion is murder to many conscientious objectors. But to many a stressed mom and dad, so too is having kids.....lolz
But in a country like India,if you do not want to have kids and also you do not want abort lter ( it is really bad ) then be carefull before starting the problem.......Hope that you are getting what i meant to say...LOLZ

hi, saw your article on rambhai and felt like giving my two cents on this topic. lets see the reason for abortion
First trying to enumerate conditions where mother deserves right of abortion
1. Pregnancy due to Rape - I think definitely mother deserves the right to abort the foetus
2. Teenage pregnancy where mother did not know what she was doing - Definitely she deservs a right
3. Risky pregnancy for the mother/foetus - This is another case where mother deserves right of aborting
Reasons for aborting where mother does not deserve right to abort
1. Adult pregnancy outside wedlock - Mother fully understood the risk, i think life is sacrosanct
2. Sex determination, want to have only a girl or boy - Definitely nobody should be allowed to abort a foetus because of its gender.
3. Unwanted pregnancy, im still too achieve a lot more in life, career oriented ambitious women - Well why did not you take the pill or force your husband to use birth control.
This issue is probably much bigger to talk about in one article or look at it from one point of view. But I definitely feel the woman has right to abortion in some circumstances, however it would be difficult for the government to police the reason why a woman is aborting.
Man in my opinion abortion should be women's right no matter what the conditions are. Whether it is associated with rape or it is associated with her having fun. India is a democracy and abortion is not murder. Now India is a democracy and it should be every women's right to abort their child if they wish to.
This one right can change everything for women in any given society. With this right women can stand beside men, and be like men. Of course there are manyyyyyyyy downsides for women in this case, because the men will treat the lady as just another person around, but without that right men tends to respect the women, but with it they don't care. Plus us men are always looking for fun,if the women does the same we would love it.
On aserious note this right can help the women go out in society and look out for themselves and it just contributes in their way to independence.
You are absolute right. But, neither the govt wont care for this tips nor the womens' right groups. The first 3 points are great, since when the court has right to assisins and convict, then it can be justified to permit the abortion for the first 3 cases, as you have mentioned. Well said...
@ garfield a women can't be almost pregnant and frankly we all admit that government is not science, who beleives there are exeptions to the rule.
Right to kill the foetus should not be given to women or anybody, unless that would help the child (Since the child should not be left orphan, like if the foetus contains irrepairable handicapp or something).

@ Rizzy....yaar i m nt ok wth ur funda cmpltly...if a woman is having sex for fun,then whts d need to gt pregnant?in tht blog post,its thr tht if u dnt want to involve in thez issue thn use protection....evrybdy knws tht wht they r doing?even young teens also....so u must b careful if u r doing smthng jst 4 fun
