After playing with various single digit numbers earlier, HMD Global has just launched the Nokia 2 now. Following the pattern of recent Nokia smartphones and their naming, it is easy to understand that Nokia 2 is the most low-end Nokia smartphone right now and targeted to a particular customer segment.
Nokia 2 comes with Qualcomm MSM8909v2 Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It features a 5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
On the imaging side, there is an 8MP primary camera and 5MP front-facing camera. There is radio and microSD card included that supports up to 128 GB of memory card. Nokia 2 sports plastic in the front, an aluminum frame and polycarbonate back panel giving it a distinct look.
But the most highlighted feature of the device is the massive 4,100 mAh battery that is claimed to last for two days as the screen resolution is low and the processor used is not resource hungry as well.
