HTC announced its latest flagship smartphone HTC U12+ on 23rd May in an event in Taiwan. And now HTC MEA has launched the device in Middle East, including UAE and Saudi Arabia.
HTC U12+ comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, a huge 6-inche WQHD screen with 1440 x 2880 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Depending on the internal storage, there are two variants but in Middle East only 128 GB internal storage variant will be available.
The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and it is DCI-P3 and HDR10 compliant to provide great quality visual experience. The device comes with the Liquid Surface design, HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition, aptX HD support for 24-bit Bluetooth audio, along with the HTC USonic earphones with Active Noise Cancellation and 32-bit/384kHz audio output.
On the imaging side, there is dual 12 MP (f/1.8, 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 16 MP (f/2.6, 1.0µm) rear camera setup with UltraSpeed Autofocus 2 (Phase Detection & Laser Autofocus), HDR Boost 2, Optical Image Stabilization, Gyro-EIS, 2x optical zoom, dual-LED dual-tone flash, AR stickers simultaneous 4K video and 8MP image recording.
It records videos at 2160p@60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, cinematic zoom and HDR. It records the audio in 24-bit/96kHz stereo quality and comes with Sonic Zoom, 3D audio recording feature.
On the front side, there is dual 8+8 MP (f/2.0, 1.12µm) camera setup provided that also comes with 1080p full HD video recording with HDR, 3D audio recording, high-res audio recording and AR stickers. It also supports the Face Unlock feature.
The new Edge Sense 2 feature let user to interact with your phone by detecting which hand you are using, double tap to navigate the device and use one-handed mode, hold to lock the screen orientation, or squeeze the sides for taking photos and videos, zooming in on maps, and virtually any interaction with millions of smartphones app available.
