HMD Global has announced four new Nokia Android smartphones, including the world’s first smartphone with a unique five camera array, the Nokia 9 PureView at the Mobile World Congress 2019 .

Nokia 9 PureView features the world’s first five camera array with ZEISS Optics in which five cameras simultaneously capture the image and fuse it together into one 12MP photo with outstanding dynamic range and depth of field. Nokia 9 PureView also features the ability to capture images in uncompressed RAW “DNG” format and edit them directly on the phone, thanks to its partnership with Adobe Lightroom. .

Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 come with the fastest way to access the Google Assistant with the dedicated Google Assistant button.

Nokia 9 PureView


Nokia 9 PureView features two colour RGB sensors and three monochromatic sensors where all five cameras work together to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single colour sensor of the same type.

Every image captured by Nokia 9 PureView is HDR, with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map. Each 12MP JPG image can benefit from outstanding detail in areas of both bright sunlight and dark shadows at the same time with incredible texture. The depth map allows beautiful bokeh, giving you the possibility to adjust focus in Google Photos after you have taken the shot.

Nokia Wireless Chargers


Along with these smartphones, HMD Global also announced Nokia Wireless Charger and Nokia Portable Wireless Charger. Both devices support the universal Qi charging standard, so they can work with compatible wireless charging devices, including the Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 8 Sirocco.

The Nokia Wireless Charger supports fast 10-watt wireless charging and the Nokia Portable Wireless Charger is a power bank that supports wireless charging, so you can charge your wireless devices on the go, even if you forgot your cable. The Nokia Portable Wireless Charger also supports universal USB output - so non-wireless devices can be charged through a USB cable.

Price and Availability


Nokia 9 PureView will be available in Saudi Arabia from March for a retail price of SAR 2,199.

Nokia 4.2 will be available in Saudi Arabia from May for a retail price of SAR 599.

Nokia 3.2 will be available in Saudi Arabia from May for a retail price of SAR 599 (3GB/32GB) and SAR 469 (2GB/16GB).

Nokia 1 Plus will be available in Saudi Arabia from March for a retail price of SAR 299.
