iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 15 Ultra in China, delivering on its promise of a next-generation flagship gaming smartphone.

The iQOO 15 Ultra features a 6.85-inch 2K+ flat LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Built using Samsung’s M14 luminous material, the 8T LTPO panel supports 2160Hz full high-frequency dimming, a 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and a 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. The display reaches up to 2600 nits in HBM mode and an impressive peak brightness of 8000 nits.

It also debuts the world’s first Pleasing Eye Protection 2.0, featuring a non-polarized natural light display, hardware-level gaming eye protection, and an industry-leading minimum brightness of just 1 nit, according to the company.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, optimized in collaboration with Qualcomm. iQOO claims an AnTuTu 11 score exceeding 4.51 million. The dedicated Q3 gaming chip enables true 2K gaming visuals, simultaneous 2K+144FPS output, and native super-resolution and super-frame support for seven officially supported games. The phone is available with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

For thermal management, the iQOO 15 Ultra is equipped with an Ice Dome Cooling System, featuring a custom Ice Dome cooling fan with 59 blades and a 17×17mm diameter. It also includes an 8000mm² ultra-large VC heat dissipation plate paired with dual-layer, ultra-high thermal conductivity graphite, along with one-click global cooling for sustained high-performance output.

Designed with gamers in mind, the phone introduces a new super-sensitive gaming control system that combines shoulder buttons, a gyroscope, and ultra-responsive touch input for a multi-dimensional control experience.

Super-Sensitive Gaming Shoulder Buttons: 600Hz sampling rate with response times as low as 32ms in popular games

Super-Sensitive Gyroscope: 500Hz sampling rate paired with iQOO’s proprietary motion algorithm for real-time precision

Super-Sensitive Touch: Up to 4000Hz instantaneous touch sampling and 480Hz multi-finger sampling. In collaboration with the official Delta Force game, iQOO has introduced zoned touch optimization for skill and wheel areas, reducing touch dropouts and improving response speed, wheel return, and crosshair accuracy

In the camera department, the iQOO 15 Ultra packs a 50MP Sony primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP Sony Pro-level periscope telephoto lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera. The periscope lens uses an ultra-thin prism with a triple-reflection M-shaped optical path for enhanced image quality and ergonomics. Combined with NICE algorithms and large-scale image enhancement technology, iQOO says the camera delivers a cinematic shooting experience, along with features such as Live Photos and AI visual effects.

The phone is available in 2049 Silver and 2077 Black color options and showcases several futuristic design elements, including:

Energy Matrix: A sci-fi-inspired hexagonal honeycomb texture

Transparent Deco Capsule: Reveals internal components and integrates pulsating energy light blades

Design Details: Extra-large R-angle corners, an AG micro-frosted back with AF coating, and a low-temperature matte metal frame

L-Shaped Charging Cable: Designed to avoid obstruction during horizontal gaming sessions

Fueling the device is a 7400mAh single-cell Blue Ocean battery, supporting 100W ultra-fast wired charging and 40W wireless fast charging, with compatibility for PPS and PD protocols.

On the audio and haptics front, the iQOO 15 Ultra introduces War Drum Master coaxial symmetrical dual speakers. Each speaker integrates high- and low-frequency units, with an independent tweeter embedded directly into the woofer. The system supports Dolby Atmos for the first time, delivering immersive 3D surround sound, and uses AI voice recognition to reduce ambient noise.

The phone also features a Warhammer MAX dual-axis vibration motor, delivering precise and powerful haptics. It supports exclusive 4D vibration effects for 24 characters in *Open World Mobile*, along with 22 newly added dual-axis vibration effects for ultimate skills.

Completing the design is the Energy Light Blade system, which supports eight notification types and 12 color options. Users can customize the ambient lighting’s color, speed, duration, and sound-responsive effects
