Alcatel is slowly increasing its market worldwide and launching some high end phones. Alcatel One Touch has launched the a series of three One Touch Idol phones and One Touch Hero phablet in India recently in a media event.
The Idol series of smartphone launched are Idol X, Idol S and Idol Mini. All of these smartphones are targeted at a particular type of smartphone users. Idol X is a high end smartphone which comes with a full HD 1080p screen, 2GB of RAM, 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 13.1MP camera. Idol S sports a 4.7 inch HD 720p screen, 4G LTE support, 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and an 8MP camera.
Idol Mini is an entry level Android phone having 4.3 inch screen , 512MB RAM, 5MP rear camera. 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 dual-core processor. All of these Idol series smartphones are powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
