LeEco launched two of its latest flagship devices in a media event yesterday in New Delhi. In a mega launch event with around 2000 people in the Siri Fort Auditorium yesterday, LeEco launched its 2nd generation of smartphones the Le 2 and Le Max 2 in India.

Well, the devices are good as per as the initial hands-on and there's a lot to be written about them, so in this article we are only focusing on the Le 2, however we will be writing about the Le Max 2 in another article which you can check from the recent articles tab.


The LeEco Le 2 is set to give low end smartphone market a tough competition as the specification and build quality they are offering is hardly given by any other brand. The Le 2 comes with a Snapdragon 652 processor, the processor which is better than it's 2014 flagship processor the Snapdragon 808 and Snapdragon 800!

Apart from that this device has got 3 GB of RAM and 32 on board storage to get you enough space to install all your applications. In the camera part the device has a 16 MP rear camera which is good enough and has improved a lot over the Le 1S camera and a 8 MP front facing camera in the front. There's a dual tone LED flash too present beside the rear camera. The phone has a 3000 mAh battery to keep you moving all the day. The display is a 5.5 inch Full HD display.


Other than all this, the device is also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) which LeEco claims gives consumers a better and optimized audio experience. The main thing which caught our attention is the device doesn't has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and uses a USB type C port instead to power the headphones.

The company claims because of it's CDLA technology they have removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack and CDLA can enhance the user experience of listening through headphones a lot. About CDLA and the type C audio jack, well only time can tell if consumers will accept this change.
