Along with the Sony Xperia X Compact, Sony also announced the Xperia XZ at the IFA 2016. It is a high-end smartphone and comes in the flagship category because of its hardware specs and features.
Sony Xperia XZ sports a 5.2-inch 1080p full HD screen with Triluminos Display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor and it runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Just like the Sony Xperia X Compact, it also has a fingerprint sensor on the power button. The same 23-megapixel primary camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus is used in Sony Xperia XZ too to capture the perfect shot without any blur and with the focus on the subject perfectly.
There is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 22mm wide-angle lens provided for taking great selfies and video calling, similar to the previously launched Sony Xperia X smartphone.
And being the high-end smartphone model, Sony Xperia XZ also comes with IP68 ratings for water resistance and there is also a dedicated camera shutter button provided to quickly launch the camera app from any screen and start capturing the moment.
