Xiaomi has announced the latest smartphone in the brand's Redmi series Redmi 4. Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes in two variants based on the hardware specs - low end and high end. Both variants come with a metal unibody design.
The standard or low-end variant of Xiaomi Redmi 4 variant comes with a 5-inch HD 720p screen with 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and has 2 GB of RAM.
The high-end variant of Xiaomi Redmi 4 features a 5-inch full HD 1080p screen with the 2.5D curved glass display. It comes with a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and 3 GB of RAM.
The common thing between these variants is a 13-megapixel primary camera that comes with Phase Detection Auto-focus for 0.1 second focus, dual-tone dual LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the devices.
Both variants of Xiaomi Redmi 4 come with hybrid dual SIM slots, 4100mAh battery and MIUI 8 based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
