We recently had the opportunity to perform an unboxing of the retail box of Gionee A1. And here we are sharing the unboxing images and detail of Gionee A1 with you all.
Gionee A1 comes in a beautiful retail box. On the front side, you will find an image of the device showing both its front and back side. There are key specs of the device provided on the bottom right corner of the device.
On the back of the box, you will find more detailed information about the device at the bottom. It provides the information regarding the screen size and quality, network compatibility, SIM capability etc. Middle and top of the retail box is mostly blank.
Once the box is opened, you will find the Gionee A1 well placed in a slot and A1 printed in golden fonts. After removing the device, the top layer can be removed to reveal rest of the content of Gionee A1 box.
Inside you will find quick user guide, warrant card, USB cable, a pair of earphones along with the big 2A charger that is claimed to charge the huge 4010 mAh battery of Gionee A1 in less than two hours.
One very nice thing about Gionee A1 is that it comes with a screen protector and a smart case in the retail box. So you can start using them right after opening the box to avoid any damage or wear and tear to the device instead of going to the market and buy a case or screen protector for your device.
And the Gionee smart case we got in our box is of the same color as the device and matches perfectly with the device and even enhances its beauty. So we can assume that the other color variants of Gionee A1 will also have the matching case in their retail boxes.
On the right side of the device, there are volume rockers and power on/off keys are provided. The power features a nice red highlight to make it stand apart from the volume keys.
On the left side, there is SIM card slot provided. Gionee A1 comes with hybrid dual SIM slot, so the SIM 2 slot can be used as the microSD card slot too and it supports memory card of up to 256 GB.
At the bottom, there are two speaker grills and a USB port provided in the center to charge the phone and connect it to the computer for data transfer and other activities. There are two visible screws at the bottom giving the device a tough and sturdy look.
At the top, there is 3.5mm audio port provided to connect the headphones. The front of the device features a 5.5-inch full HD screen, a physical Home key and 2.5D curved screen.
The back of Gionee A1 is beautiful and slightly curved at the edges. The camera module, LED flash and fingerprint sensor are aligned in a straight line, giving the back of the device a beautiful look. The smiling Gionee logo is placed on the fingerprint sensor itself and looks great.
The antenna lines are visible at the top and bottom of the device and a small Gionee branding is given at the bottom. The back of the device is having nice matte finish and it feels good in hand.
The first impressions of Gionee A1 is nice. The build quality of the device is great from metal unibody to 2.5D curved glass display, everything looks nice. We will do a detailed review of the device soon too to see how good Gionee A1 is overall, specially the USP of the device - front camera and battery life.
