Huawei’s Honor just announced its latest flagship smartphone Honor 9 at an event in China. Huawei Honor 9 is basically the same Huawei P10 smartphone in terms of hardware specs that was introduced earlier this year's Mobile World Congress event but it comes with the Honor branding and lacks the Leica SUMMARIT branded lenses and the IP68 watreproofing as well.
Huawei Honor 9 comes with a 5.15-inch 1080p full HD curved glass display with DCI-P3 coverage. The device is powered by a Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor and 4/6 GB of RAM unlike the only 4GB RAM of Huawei P10. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top of it.
On the imaging side, there is dual camera setup of 20-megapixel plus 12-megapixel camera provided on the rear of Huawei Honor 9 for 2X hybrid zoom and along with the laser autofocus.
Huawei Honor 9 sports a 3D metal and glass body design. There is a fingerprint sensor provided embedded into the Home button. For music lovers, there is AKM Hi-Fi audio chip included for an enhanced audio experience.
