After a long wait, OnePlus 5 is officially launched by OnePlus today. OnePlus was in news since a long time and recently it was criticized heavily due to resemblance of the design of OnePlus 5 to iPhone 7 Plus. But now once it is launched and all the hardware specs of OnePlus 5 are revealed along with the price tag, tech world is praising the device.
OnePlus 5 comes with Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor along with the Adreno 540 GPU, Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and Oxygen OS on top of it. It features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED capacitive full HD 1080p touchscreen protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
There will be two variant of OnePlus 5 depending on the storage. The 6 GB RAM version will be available with 64 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM variant of OnePlus 5 comes with 128 GB internal storage.
On the imaging side, there is a dual-rear camera setup of 16 MP with f/1.7, EIS (gyro) and 20 MP with f/2.6 aperture. The primary camera comes with the phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom, dual-LED flash and 4K video recording. On the front side, there is a 16 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and gyro based EIS provided for capturing images, videos and making video calls.
