Xiaomi Middle East has just launched the Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone after teasing it for awhile on their social media accounts. Basically it is the same Xiaomi Mi 5X smartphone that was launched earlier in China but comes with Android One features.
Xiaomi Mi A1 is an Android One smartphone and Xiaomi worked in the collaboration with Google to develop this device and it guarantees regular software updates to it. Since Mi A1 is an Android One device. instead of Xiaomi’s MIUI, it comes with Google’s stock ROM and skin.
Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 5.5-inch full HD LCD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, 4GB of RAM, and 64 GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot as well that supports up to 128 GB size memory card.
On the imaging side, there is a dual 12MP rear camera setup with 2x optical zoom and 4K video recording capability. On the front side, there is a 5 MP camera provided for taking selfies and making video calls.
It sports a full metal unibody design and there is a fingerprint sensor provided on the back of the device. It is powered by a non-removable 3080 mAh Li-Ion battery that supports the fast charging too.
