Xiaomi has officially announced its latest mid-range Android smartphone in China, Mi Play, the latest device in the Play series in China
Xiaomi Mi Play comes with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ screen with a water-drop notch. The device is powered by the upcoming MediaTek Helio P35 12nm processor that comes with the CPU/GPU Turbo feature. Other highlighted features of Xiaomi Mi Play are 4GB RAM, Android 8.1 Oreo OS with MIUI 10 on top of it.
On the imaging side, there is 12+2 MP dual rear camera setup provided where the 2MP lens is the depth sensor to create bokeh effect in the images. It also comes with the AI scene detection. On the front side, there is an 8MP camera with AI Beautify and AI portrait mode provided for taking selfies and making video calls.
Xiaomi Mi Play comes with a glossy glass-like and gradiant finish on the back panel. There is a fingerprint sensor provided on the back of the device too.
