Huawei has already started the pre-booking of its Mate 20X 5G smartphone in the Middle East as the device is soon going to be released in UAE and Saudi Arabia. And now Honor, teh sister company of Huawei Mobile, has also announced its plan for their 5G smartphones in the Middle East region.
According to Honor, the first Honor 5G smartphone will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2019. It will be features-laden smartphone and will bring premium experience for its users
It is a good news for consumers as recently roll-out of 5G network technology has started in UAE and KSA by telecom operators but still there are no 5G capable smartphones available in the market to enjoy the service.
There is no information whether it will be a brand new Honor 5G smartphone or just a 5G variant of an existing Honor flagship smartphone.
Recently the HONOR 20 smartphone has achieved a record-high sales performance of more than one million units in just two weeks in China. The HONOR 20 PRO has achieved a combined sales volume of RMB 100 million within three seconds of its launch.
