Acer Middle East has officially launched its thin and light Swift 7 (SF714-52T) laptop in Saudi Arabia.
The Swift 7 is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-8500Y processor and comes with a fanless design, 512GB of fast PCIe SSD storage, 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 12 hours battery life.
Swift 7 comes with a premium chassis and ultra-narrow bezels providing the 14-inch screen of Swift 7 an impressive 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 and weighs just 890 grams
The redesigned Acer Swift 7 features a four-sided narrow bezel design with just 2.57 mm thin bezels to provide an immersive full screen display, while reducing the width and depth to just 317.9 mm W x 191.5 mm D. The Swift 7 is just 9.95 mm and sports a premium-quality magnesium alloy that is stronger than standard aluminum.
The 14-inch touchscreen IPS display of Swift 7 comes with Full HD resolution, 100% sRGB/72% NTSC color gamut, 300 nits of brightness and the screen is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6.
For connectivity purpose, there are two USB Type-C ports supporting Thunderbolt™ 3 for high bandwidth speeds up to 40 Gbps, while also delivering system power and connecting to any display, as well as USB 3.1 Gen 2. The DisplayPort 1.2 provides fast data transfers at up to 10 Gbps and supports high resolution external displays and speedy charging of external devices.
Swift 7 also features Intel Wireless-AC delivering Wi-Fi 5 capable of Gigabit speed and featuring 2x2 MU-MIMO technology, Bluetooth 5.0 and a combo headphone and speaker jack.
The touchpad is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader to provide password-free Windows Hello features. The new Swift 7 also features a push-to-open HDR capable camera with 55-degree angle of view for webchats and video recording that can be kept closed to prevent unintended camera usage and to protect privacy.
