Samsung Saudi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation's Misk Academy at the Misk Global Forum conducted in Riyadh. The agreement was signed by Jae Won Jang, Chief Financial Officer of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Eng. Omar Al-Najjar, Chief Executive Officer of Misk Academy.

The MoU is to enable young Saudis to acquire advanced academic skills to help them develop their careers and raise the level of competencies in the Kingdom and support their employment and growth in the future based on technology.

The Samsung Innovation Campus will be launched in early 2020 and will provide a series of initiatives to equip young people between the ages of 18 and 25 with technical skills, with over 240 hours of immersive training. The initiative reflects Samsung's vision of enabling young people to access the technology-based labor market. Samsung will provide the necessary training and will choose the Academy to hold students who will participate in the workshops and provide them with training facilities.

Samsung Innovation Campus aims to bridge the gap in local skills with advanced technologies, accelerate the pace of digital transformation in the Kingdom and contribute to the Kingdom's leadership vision towards building a knowledge economy in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Transformation 2020 program.
