Usually the restarting process on Windows PC includes shutting down the device first and then switching it on again. If you are having an old desktop PC then you should be having a dedicated button on the CPU cabinet to restart the Windows instantly. 1. Press the CTRL, ALT and Delete keys together (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)

2. When the options appear on the screen, press and hold the CTRL key and click on the switch off menu at the bottom right corner.

3. Now a warning message will appear on the screen about restarting the Windows forcefully as shown in the below image.

4. Click on the OK button to confirm the Emergency Restart to restart your computer instantaneously.

Keep in mind to perform the Windows Emergency Restart only when you really need to restart your Windows PC faster as it will not close any running program or give you the time to save any file. It may cause harm to any of your running program and corrupt the files as well.
