Facebook is adding new features constantly to survive in the world of social media. The latest addition in the list of features of Facebook is the ability to embed the Facebook status updates on your websites.
Though there are few services available using which you can embed the tweets in your website and blog posts, Twitter came out with the same features officially for its Twitter users or followers. And now, Facebook is offering the same feature.
For example, below is post of the Geeky Stuffs Facebook page and a tweet of mine both embedded in this blog post. You can do the same on your website or blog.
Here I am going to share the method of embedding the Facebook status updates and Twitter tweets on your website in two separate sections. Just follow the steps given below.
1. Click on the arrow icon on the top right corner of a Facebook post.
2. From the drop-down menu, just click on the “Embed Post” option as shown in the below image.
3. Now, a popup window will appear on the screen with the embedding code and the preview of the Facebook post that how it will appear in your website.
4. Just copy and paste the code on your website or blog post where you want to embed the Facebook post.
1. Click on the “More” link appearing below the tweet which you want to embed on your website.
2. From the options available on the drop-down menu, click on the “Embed Tweet”.
3. A popup window will appear with the embedding code and preview of the embedded tweet.
4. Copy that code and paste it on your website where you want to embed the tweet.
As you can see, this embedded Facebook posts and Twitter tweets are having all the basic features of their respective platforms. So, you can readers can Like, ReTweet, reply or share these embedded posts with others right from your website.
Now, you can easily embed the Facebook Pots and Twitter Tweets on your website and increase the reader engagement.
