There are two method which you can use to enable the Reply option on comments on your Facebook profile. One of them needs few browser extensions to be installed and another one is a bit longer but needs no Chrome browser extension. You can select the one of your choice.
1. Install the Chrome browser extensions from the link given below.
User Agent Switcher
Manual Geolocation
2. After the extension installation, click on the Manual Geolocation icon near to the Chrome menu.
3. Click on the “Enable” link to enable the extension. If you see the link option as “Disable” then, it is already enabled.
4. Now type New Zealand in the search box and confirm the location. After that click on the Ultimate User Agent Switcher extension icon.
5. Check the box for the option "Activate Now". Do not change any other option after that.
6. Go to the touch.facebook.com again and click on the Check-In option. You will see that now Facebook is suggesting you the places and locations of New Zealand for checking-in.
7. Now close the browser, start it again and go to the normal desktop version of the Facebook i.e www.facebook.com now. Post a status on your wall and comment on it for the testing. You will see that your comment will have the Reply option in it.
1. Go to Facebook.com on Google Chrome browser and log in to your Facebook account if you are not already logged in.
2. Once you are logged in, close all the browser tabs in which Facebook is open or just close the Google Chrome and open it again fresh.
3. Now go to the http://touch.facebook.com
4. Press the CTRL + Shift+ I keys together to open the Developer Options of the Chrome browser. Alternatively, you can go to the Menu --> Tools --> Developer Tools options for the same.
5. Now, look for the Console tab in Developer Options and click on it.
6. Click on the gear icon at the bottom right corner now to enter into the setting options of the Console.
7. On the Console Settings page, click on the Overrides from the options available on the left sidebar.
For Chrome Version 31 and older
Check the box for the "Enable" option and then scroll down to "Override GeoLocation" option. Check the box to enable it.
Now, enter the following cordinates respectively as shown in the image above
Lat : -41.211111 and Lon : 174.781111
For Chrome Version 32 and higher
8. Now, check the box for the option "Show 'Emulation' view in console drawer" to enable it. After that press the Escape key to return back to the Developer Tools section.
9. Now, click on the Element tab to open it.
10. Right Click anywhere inside the code area and then click on the 'Inspect DOM Properties' option.
11. Now, click on the 'Emulation' and check the box for the 'Emulate GeoLocation Coordinates' option and then enter the below coordinates
Lat : -41.211111 and Lon : 174.781111
12. Now just like the first method, go to the touch.facebook.com, click on the Check-In option to see Facebook suggesting you the places and locations of New Zealand for checking-in.
13. Close the browser and start it again. Visit the normal desktop version of the Facebook at www.facebook.com and post a status on your wall and comment on it for the testing purpose. If you have followed all the steps correctly, you will see that your comment will have the Reply option available in it.
