Facebook love to make changes and add or remove features for its website. Some of those features are welcomed and some are not. One of the feature Facebook recently included is of the auto-playing the videos on the timeline. This feature is enabled on the Facebook website and on the Android and iOS apps well.
This is one of the feature I personally do not like as it is very annoying that while you going through your Facebook News Feed and suddenly a video comes on the screen and starts playing by itself. One more reason to not like this feature is that if you are on a limited broadband plan or mobile Internet plan then it will consume your bandwidth.
Fortunately, Facebook have also added the option to stop the auto-play of the videos but like silently and without informing the users. The settings for each system is different that means you need to stop the auto-play of Facebook videos individually on Facebook website and mobile apps. Here I am going to tell you how to stop auto-play of Facebook videos on your Android device, iPhone, iPad and Facebook website.
