Recently just few weeks back we have posted about the an upcoming smartphone from OPPO designed and developed specially for the selfie lovers and now the device is officially launched. In a media event in India, OPPO unveiled the two variants of OPPO F1 smartphone as the smartphones for Selfie Experts.
OPPO F1 comes with a 5 inch 2.5D screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4 and supporting the 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. On the processor side, it boasts a Snapdragon 616 series 64 bit octa-core chipset clocked 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU.
The device runs on the OPPO’s Colour OS 2.1 and the Android version you will find is Android 5.1 Lollipop running out of the box. The amount of RAM provided is 3GB RAM and the internal memory is of 16GB ROM. There is also a memory card slot provided that supports up to 128GB micro SD card and can be also used as the slot for secondary SIM.
OPPO F1 sports a 13 MP primary camera and an 8 MP front facing camera for selfie lovers. Both cameras are capable of recording 1080p full HD videos. The battery included in OPPO F1 is 2,500mAh in capacity.
OPPO F1 Plus is the upgraded version of the OPPO F1 and comes with 4GB of RAM, 5.5inch full HD screen, 32 GB internal memory and same chipset as the OPPO F1. The primary camera is 13 MP and there is no information provided regarding the amount of battery and the front facing camera.
