Kyocera, a mobile brand popular for its rugged smartphones, has announced its upcoming rugged smartphone DuraForce PRO. It is claimed to be resistant to drops, shocks, dust and water with IP68 certifications. So, it is waterproof up to 30 minutes and up to 2 meters deep.
It also comes with the Military Standard 810G for protection against dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, blowing rain, low pressure, solar radiation, salt fog, humidity, immersion, temperature shock and icing/freezing rain.

Talking about the hardware, Kyocera DuraForce Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 5.5-inch screen is Full HD and the battery capacity is 3,240 mAh battery with support for both wireless charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
But the most highlighted feature of DuraForce PRO is that it comes with a Super Wide View Full HD (1080p) Action Camera with 135 degree field of view. Kyocera DuraForce Pro sports a 13 MP primary camera that can take underwater photos as the device is waterproof.
There is also a fingerprint senor provided integrated into the power key. Kyocera DuraForce Pro also supports the Glove and Wet Touchscreen Operation that allows users to use the device even with gloved and wet hands.
