Microsoft has recently launched two new products for the computer segment – Microsoft Modern Keyboard and Modern Mouse. The Microsoft Modern Keyboard comes with chiclet keys, grey metallic finish and due to this looks very similar to the Surface Keyboard.
But the most highlighted feature of the Microsoft Modern Keyboard is the built-in fingerprint sensor that let user unlock the device, very much similar to the one on Apple Macbook Pro. The fingerprint sensor is placed between the Alt and Ctrl keys, usually where you will find the Windows key.
Microsoft Modern Keyboard is made of a thin but durable aluminium frame and weighs 413.5 grams. It comes with a rechargeable battery that is claimed to have up to 4 months of battery life. Microsoft Modern Keyboard is compatible with Windows 8-10, Windows 10 Phone, Android and macOS supporting the Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.
Microsoft Modern keyboard will be available very soon in the market and the price of Microsoft Modern Keyboard is $129.99.
Along with the Modern Keyboard, Microsoft has also announced the Modern Mouse that compliments the design of the keyboard. It supports the Bluetooth 4.0 and claimed by Microsoft that it offers exceptional precision. The Modern Mouse will be available with Modern Keyboard for $49.99.
