Nokia 8 was announced nearly two weeks back and today HMD Global launched the Nokia's latest flagship Android smartphone Nokia 8 in Middle East an event in Dubai.
Nokia 8 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. HMD Global promises monthly Android security update for the device and Nokia 8 will also receive the upcoming Android Oreo update as well.
Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3-inch Quad HD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, full aluminium unibody design, fingerprint sensor, barometer sensor and a 3,010 mAh battery with Qualcomm's fast charging technology.
On the imaging side, there is 13-megapixel dual camera setup on the back of the device that comes with ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization. One of them is RGB sensor and the second one is a monochrome sensor for dedicated black and white photography. On the front side, there is a 13MP camera with Phase Detection Autofocus and wide angle lens. Both rear and front cameras are capable of recording 4K videos.
Nokia 8 camera comes with a new Dual-Sight technology, called as Bothie by Nokia Mobile, that uses both front and back cameras at the same time splitting the screen in two showing images and videos from both cameras together.
With the help of three microphones, Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio is created in Nokia 8. It captures the sound in great quality with lots of details and playback on the compatible devices and platforms like Nokia 8, YouTube etc. Nokia 8 camera also let user broadcast live directly to Facebook and YouTube right from the camera app.

Nokia 8 will be available in four color options - Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel and Polished Copper. The price of Nokia 8 is 1,699 SAR/AED in Saudi Arabia and UAE. Nokia 8 will be available to consumers from 21st September in UAE and 24th September in KSA. Other Middle Eastern countries will receive the device by the end of October.
