As promised by HTC and the official teasers, HTC has just announced its latest flagship smartphone HTC U11+. As the name suggests, it is the advanced version of the popular HTC U11 smartphone and comes with new features and better hardware specs.
HTC U11+ comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, Adreno 540 GPU, 6-inch bezel-less Quad HD+ Super LCD 6 screen with 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The HDR10 support to screen is also going to arrive to HTC U11+ via a software update before the end of the year.
Along with screen size, battery is also increased from 3000 mAh in HTC U11 to 3,930 mAh in HTC U11+. It also comes with IP68 water-proofing certification instead of IP67 provided in HTC U11. HTC U11+ runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo OS and comes with improved version of Edge Sense feature.
On the imaging side, there is a 12MP primary camera provided similar to U11. On the front side, there is an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video calling purpose. Just like the HTC U11, U11+ also comes with the HTC Sense Companion, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa personal assistant along with a pair of USonic noise-cancelling USB-C earphones.
The BoomSound speakers on HTC U11+ are claimed to be the loudest ever and provide 30% more volume. There is a fingerprint sensor provided on the back of the device.
