HUAWEI FreeLace Pro, which brings to the table an impressive extra-long battery, premium noise cancellation and an intelligent connectivity solution, all at a friendlier price point is going to be available soon in Saudi Arabia.
Thanks to the 150mAh lithium-ion polymer battery and a low-power dual-core Bluetooth chip, one single full charge lasts a maximum of 24 hours with the noise cancellation turned off, making it the perfect earphones to use during commutes or during a long jog. And just 5 minutes of charge can play music for up to 5 hours.
Huawei has fitted into the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro dual microphones for active noise cancellation. This outward-facing feedforward microphone works with the feedback microphone in the earbuds to achieve proper dual active noise cancellation. Essentially, one mic will pick up noise from the outside, while the other picks up residual noise in the ear, which when combined with the 14mm large dynamic driver allows the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro to generate noise cancellation sound waves with an upper limit of 40dB.
In addition to this, the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro also uses a Triple mic Noise cancellation for a better calling experience. This setup uses one microphone that is located in the earbud controller and two others that are embedded inside the earbud to pick up the user’s voice clearly. The earphones also generate sound waves to enable noise cancellation, which finally results in improved clarity and greater performance at cancelling ambient noise and wind disturbance. All of this is complemented by a pair of 14mm dynamic drivers, which allow for more intense vibrations. Paired with a dedicated bass tube at the back, this setup allows for deep bass and top audio quality reaching a gold standard for frequency range and ensuring a richer acoustic experience complete with studio quality sound.
The design puts a USB Type-C plug in the control box itself. This plug allows for a direct connection into devices with a USB Type-C port. However, with HUAWEI HiPair, all users need to do is simply plug it into a compatible Huawei smartphone to complete the Bluetooth pairing with just one tap on the connection prompt window1. Another highlight of this feature is that by keeping the neckband earphones plugged in to the USB Type-C port of any device, such as a smartphone, PC or tablet, the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro will start charging, taking away the need to carry separate chargers or cables.
Users also have the option of switching between two connected devices by simply double pressing the power button. For example, users can be using the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro to watch a movie on their tablet, but can switch to their smartphone when they receive a call with a simple double-press.
Gaming Mode uses an optimized wireless audio codec that enables HUAWEI FreeLace Pro to greatly lower audio latency in game to as low as 150ms. The best part is, users don’t have to even turn it on, because once a game is opened, the earphones detect it and the phone will automatically enable gaming mode. A Magnetic Switch is also embedded into the back of each earbud on the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro. Thanks to this, once the user stops using the earphones, they can snap two earbuds together and lay them neatly on their chest. The Hall sensor will then detect whether the two earbuds are connected after which the earphones automatically power down to conserve battery, only to resume connection when the earbuds are detached from each other.
HUAWEI Scale 3
Huawei will be launching in parallel the HUAWEI Scale 3, a smart way to keep track of all body values. It allows you to get comprehensive understanding of your physical conditions with the +10 body indicators. It also includes features like HUAWEI TruFit™, a body composition model co-developed by Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Huawei, where every measurement is scientifically guided, and big data and AI technology are able to bring you accurate information for a healthier body and lifestyle. The HUAWEI Scale 3 connects with both Wi-Fi4 and Bluetooth to experience more convenience.
The HUAWEI FreeLace Pro will be available in Saudi Arabia at Huawei Flagship store in Riyadh Park, Huawei E-shop, and several authorized retailers starting February 18th, priced at 499 SAR in color variants of Dawn White, Graphite Black, and Spruce Green.
