1. First of all, you need to install the latest Windows OS updates on your PC to be eligible to get the Windows 10.

On Windows 8 or 8.1, press Windows key and C together. It will the bring the sidebar. Now go to Settings --> Change PC Settings --> Update and Recovery.

Or you can just press the Windows key on Windows 7/8/8.1 and type "Update' in the search bar. From the results appearing on the screen, click on the "Windows Update"

2. Now , click on "Check for Updates".

3. Select all updates available for your PC and click on "Install Updates" button.
