It comes with huge range of features, such as intelligent music playback based on user’s heart rate monitoring, various training plans depending on your requirements, and real time voice coaching for a personalized training experience.
Developed with the modern runner in mind, the Smart B-Trainer™ comes in the popular and beautiful neckband-style housing. To provide you the most accurate data, Smart B-Trainer™ comes with six types of sensors – heart rate, acceleration, GPS, compass, gyro and barometer – and measures as well as records 11 different types of running logs – heart rate, burned calories, distance, time, speed, pace, cadence, steps, stride, running route and elevation.
Based on a preset user profile and heart rate goal of that particular user, the Smart B-Trainer™ measures the heart rate of user and automatically selects music for efficient training. Music tempo analysis is carried out by Sony’s 12 Tone Analysis technology, which extracts a variety of metadata through signal and statistical processing to analyze music waveforms.
When a user’s heart rate is higher than the targeted speed selected, a song with slower tempo will be automatically selected to guide the user to slow down and control the heart rate, and vice versa when the user’s heart rate is lower than the targeted speed. It also let you adjust the tempo of the song to match your mood at the time of running.
There is a smartphone app called Smart B-Trainer™ for Running is also provided which let you create and manage your physical activity logs for better performance. The device comes with 16 GB of internal memory to let you store hundreds of song in it. It is also IPX5/IPX8 certified waterproof and you can also use as Bluetooth headset to answer calls while doing your physical training.
