Acer has recently launched two new 2-in-1 Windows 10 notebooks that are basically targeted at students. Acer Switch V 10 and Switch One 10 both come with 10-inch screen with IPS technology for wide viewing angles and vivid color display.
Acer Switch V 10 and Switch One 10 both are powered by the latest Intel Atom quad-core processors and support the Windows 10 Precision Touchpad gesture technology for better user experience. The devices can be converted into tablet or laptop depending on the user's need and talking about the orientation, they can be converted in four different modes - notebook, tablet, tent and display mode. Acer uses its indigenous Snap Hinge latch-less magnetic hinge design to provide this feature.

According to Acer, Switch V 10 feature a touch display panel covered by Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass. It contains an antimicrobial agent to help protect the surface from odor and stain causing microorganisms and reduce their growth on touching the screen and it is really a nice feature considering the health factor.
There are cameras provided in Acer Switch V 10 at front and back, both. There is also a built-in fingerprint reader provided for security purpose. It comes in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options. And if you think this much storage is not enough for you then, there is dock also provided for an additional 500 GB of HDD data storage.
On the connectivity side, Acer Switch V 10 supports a dual-band MIMO 802.11 ac wireless connection. There are also two extra USB Type-A ports and a keyboard dock provided. Acer Switch V 10 claims to provide up to 9 hours of battery life and it will be available in Pearl White, Shale Black, Coral Red, Peacock Blue and Navy Blue color options.
Acer Switch One 10 also comes with a fingerprint reader and is powered by latest quad-core Intel Atom processors. Acer claims that Switch One 10 offers up to 8 hours of battery life, slightly lower than the Switch V10. This device comes in with a stylish dark grey brushed-metal cover.
The starting price of Acer Switch V 10 is $249 and it will be available in US in third quarter of 2016. And the starting price of Acer Switch One 10 is $199 and it will be available in US from July, 2016.
