Samsung’s Notebook 9 series of laptops were announced exactly one year back at CES 2016 in January. And now when the CES 2017 event is just few days away, Samsung has announced the updated Notebook 9 series of laptops that come with some new and additional features.
Both 13.3-inch and 15-inch models of the Samsung Notebook 9 feature an ultra-slim bezel and edge-to-edge screen that also reclines up to 180°. On the connectivity side, both models feature the 802.11 ac 2X2 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. For entertainment and media purpose, the come with dual 1.5W Speakers, 720p camera, Internal Dual Array Digital Mic.
Both models come with a built-in fingerprint sensor as well. The fingerprint sensor supports the Windows Hello, feature of the Windows 10 that let user log into the device without typing the password and provides a secure sign in with a single touch.
Samsung Notebook 9 15-inch and 13-inch are Windows 10 laptops and come with a 1080p Full HD screen. It is available with Intel Core i7 processor. Based on the RAM, there are two variants – 4 GB and 8GB LPDDR3 RAM. For the storage, 128 GB and 256 GB SSD variant options area available.
The dimension of Samsung Notebook 9 15-inch is 347.9 X 229.4 X 14.9mm and it weighs 0.98 Kg. It comes with a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, mini Ethernet, microSD, HP/mic. Samsung claims that the Notebook 9 15-inch model provides battery life of up to 12 hours and the Quick Charging feature provided fully charges the device in just 20 minutes.
The Samsung Notebook 9 13.3-inch model comes with the 309.4 X 208 X 13.9mm dimension and weighs 0.81 Kg,
