HTC U Ultra, the latest flagship devices from HTC, was launched few days back along with the HTC U play. And today HTC MEA launched the HTC U Ultra and U Play devices in Saudi Arabia in a media event. HTC U series will be available in Saudi Arabia from 10th February, making it the first country where the devices will be available to consumers.
HTC U Ultra features a big 5.7 inches WQHD screen and 1440 x 2560 pixels resolutions. There is a 2.05 inch secondary display provided with 160 x 1040 pixels resolution where user can have quick access to important information like weather, favorite contacts, meeting notification etc . HTC U Ultra runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS and powered by the Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor.
It comes with 4GB of RAM. Based on the internal storage, there will be two variants - 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage. 64 GB variant will feature the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the screen while the high-end variant will come with Sapphire glass on the display.
HTC U Ultra comes with an Artificial Intelligence that works as user's personal assistance. On the imaging side, there is 12MP primary camera with 4K video recording capability. On the front side, there is a 16MP Ultra Pixel camera for taking selfies and video calling. User can switch to either Ultra Pixel mode or regular 16MP mode.
The microSD card slot can be used to expand memory or to use it as SIM 2 slot and it supports up to 256 GB of memory card. There is a fingerprint sensor provided on the front in the Home key and there is no 3.5mm audio jack provided like the previously launched HTC Bolt and HTC 10 Evo smartphones. It comes with USonic Adaptive Audio technology for better audio experience.
