After sending the media invitations few days back, Meizu has finally announced its flagship Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus smartphones. Confirming the previously leaked information, Meizu PRO 7 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen and the Meizu PRO 7 Plus features a bigger 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen.
Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus both come with an 1.9-inch secondary Super AMOLED display with 307 PPI on the back of the devices to show various info such as weather report, clock and notifications. The secondary screen can be used also for taking selfie while using the primary camera instead of front-facing camera.
Both phones come with a dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with the combination of monochrome and RGB sensors. The camera of Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus also feature portrait images with blurred background and bokeh effect. There is a 16-megapixel front camera provided for video calling and taking selfies.
Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus sport metal unibody design. Meizu PRO 7 comes with 3000 mAh battery and Meizu PRO 7 Plus comes with a bigger 3500 mAh battery.
Based on the hardware, there will be two variants of Meizu PRO 7. The standard edition will come with Mediatek MT6757T Helio P25, Mali-T880MP2 GPU and 64 GB eMMC5.1 storage. The premium version will come with Mediatek MT6799 Helio X30, PowerVR 7XTP GPU and faster UFS2.1 128 GB inernal storage.
