After a series of leaks, rumors and some official teasers by HTC, the HTC U11 EYEs is finally announced. In terms of design and specs, it is the combination of HTC U11 and U11+ with upper mid-range hardware specs.
It comes with the Liquid Surface design we have seen in all recent HTC smartphones. Some of the highlighted features of HTC U11 EYEs are Qualcomm™ Snapdragon™ 652 64 bit octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
It comes with the 6-inch Super LCD3 screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2160 pixels full HD+ resolution. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo OS with HTC Sense UI on top of it. It is powered by the same 3,930 mAh battery of HTC U11+ and comes with IP67 certification too. The popular pressure sensitive Edge Sense feature and Edge Launcher are integrated in the HTC U11 EYEs as well.
On the imaging side, it features a 12 MP UltraPixel OIS rear camera with f/1.7 aperture used in HTC U11 earlier. There is dual 5MP front camera setup with flash provided that creates bokeh effect in the image and also brings the Face Unlock feature to the HTC U11 EYEs along with the AR stickers and Beauty mode.
