Recently 5G commercial services were launched in Saudi Arabia by the major telecom operator STC but so far no 5G smartphones are available in Saudi Arabia on which user can enjoy the 5G network.

Thankfully, Huawei is going to launch the Huawei Mate 20X 5G variant this month in Saudi Arabia as the first 5G smartphone of the country along with the Huawei 5G CPE Pro router.

HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro will be launched in the beginning of Jule. It comes with Huawei's recently launched Balong 5000 chipset — the world’s first 5G multimode modem chipset and the first to support commercial application of 4G and 5G dual-modes. HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro is also the first 5G router to achieve the industry benchmarks of peak 1.6Gbps@100MHz download speeds – at Sub 6GHz.

HUAWEI Mate 20 X 5G will be launched in July as well and it will be the first Huawei smartphone to support the 5G in Saudi Arabia.

Huawei is working extensively on the development of 5G technology since 2009 by establishing more than 10 5G R&D centers. Huawei has already won 50 commercial 5G contracts globally so far.
