Huawei has recently launched its Global Industry Vision (GIV) 2025 report, sharing the predictions for technology and industry development up to 2025.

Huawei used its own quantitative data and real-world use cases of intelligent technology in various industry to identify 10 mega tech trends affecting the way we live and work. 1. Living with Bots

Huawei's Global Industry Vision (GIV) 2025 report predicts a 14% global penetration rate of home robots because of the advances in material science, perceptual AI, and network technologies.

2. Super Sight

The convergence of 5G, VR, AR, machine learning, and other emerging technologies will increase the uses of these technologies for people and business, both. And the percentage of companies using AR/VR will increase to 10%.

3. Zero Search

Huawei's Global Industry Vision (GIV) 2025 report predicts that future searches will be button-free, 90% of smart device owners will use intelligent personal assistants, and industry will benefit from “zero-search maintenance”

4. Tailored Streets

Intelligent transport systems in the smart cities will connect people, vehicles, and infrastructure to create zero congestion and rapid emergency response. Almost 15% of vehicles will have Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything technology.

Smart automation will start handling more hazardous, repetitive, and high-precision tasks providing more safety and productivity. GIV 2025 report predicts that there will be 103 robots on average in industry for every per 10,000 employees.

Merging the Cloud and AI technologies will help in scientific experimentation and innovation by providing the creative opportunities to all. According to GIV 2025 predicts that 97% of large companies will have deployed AI.

7. Frictionless Communication

GIV 2025 predicts that enterprises will fully use of 86% of the data that they produce and the AI and big data analytics will create seamless communication between companies and customers.

8. Symbiotic Economy

More and more companies are using cloud technology on unified access platforms bringing resource-sharing, stronger global ecosystems, and higher productivity. It is predicted by GIV 2025 that all companies will be using the cloud technology and 85% of business applications will be cloud-based by 2025.

9. 5G’s Rapid Rollout

5G is getting deployed fast in every region and 58% of the world's population will have access to 5G by 2025.

10. Global Digital Governance

We are consuming more and more data everyday and GIV 2025 predicts that the annual volume of global data will reach 180 ZB (1 ZB = 1 trillion GB) by 2025.
