At the GITEX Technology Week 2019 in Dubai, Huawei will showcase how the deeper integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as 5G ecosystem development is helping businesses to stay connected in a digitally-driven world.

Huawei will held its exhibition under the theme ‘Building a Fully Connected, Intelligent World’ located at Stand Z2-A10 in Za’abeel Hall 2. Within this theme, Huawei will focus on end-to-end solutions and global case studies revolving around ‘Advance Intelligence’ – how AI enables an intelligent world – and ‘5G, Gear Up’ – how 5G provides infinite possibility for connectivity.

According to Huawei’s own Global Industry Vision 2025 report, global data volumes are predicted to increase from 32.5 ZB in 2018 to 180 ZB in 2025, with enterprise demand for AI computing power doubling every three months and adoption rising to 80% by 2025. As a result, organizations are now seeking a means to access the full computing power of AI through easy-to-use platforms that weave intelligence into the cloud, network edge, or an individual device.

Visitors will also be able to see a showcase of Huawei’s leading end-to-end solutions for 5G growth – from new standards to products and 5G business models. The impact of 5G is also being demonstrated beyond the telecommunications sector, with references to how 5G is bolstering new applications not only in virtual reality, cloud gaming, and robotics, but also industry.

Charles Yang, President of Huawei Middle East, said:
We are building a fully connected, intelligent world. When many people think of Huawei, they think connections. It's true we have been investing in connectivity for the past 30 years, but our work doesn't stop there. Both connections and computing are key – they're inseparable. Today this combination is delivering more advanced intelligence across every touchpoint of the digital economy, and is being accelerated with the launch of 5G networks. As leaders in both AI and 5G technologies, GITEX visitors will be able to see how Huawei is working to bring digital to every person, home and organization.

Huawei Middle East Innovation Day 2019

In parallel to the main GITEX exhibition, Huawei will be hosting its Huawei Middle East Innovation Day 2019 on October 7th. The event will include three sessions: a 5G Ecosystem Conference under the title “5G, Gear Up”; an AI Conference under the theme “Advance Intelligence”, and a “Huawei Developer Day Dubai 2019” session which is focused on building a better ecosystem.

The 5G Ecosystem Conference will involve industry regulators, telecom operators, analysts, and other ecosystem players. The session will review global 5G case studies and explore how 5G is bringing infinite possibilities not only to individuals but to industries across the Middle East. Furthermore, Huawei will jointly release with telecom operators 5G use case solutions for vertical industries. A 5G OpenLab will also be launched, serving as a strong platform to assemble industry partners, telecom operators, and Huawei experts, incubating more 5G use case solutions.

The AI Conference will focus on how enterprises and governments across the region are using Huawei’s latest technologies to support industry AI innovation. A series of talks from Huawei’s regional customers and partners will offer attendees a glimpse of how more open, collaborative, and sustainable ecosystems are being built to enable digital transformation. The agenda will also include case studies of extraordinary regional projects in which organizations are working to apply AI advancements locally.

HUAWEI Mobile Services also invites all local partners and developers to the Huawei Developer Day Dubai 2019 to discuss building a better ecosystem together. That will include sharing Huawei’s ecological construction strategy and launching the Shining-Star Program, which has invested USD$1 billion in resources to provide comprehensive support for developers, create a smart mobile service innovation ecosystem, help partners to create digital innovation in full scenario, encourage developers to access Huawei’s open capabilities and services, and promote developers’ services in the marketing segment.
