OPPO - Google CameraX

Google’s CameraX enables developers to leverage the camera experiences and features from a device’s native camera app and it will be supported by various OPPO devices, including OPPO Reno 10x Zoom and the latest OPPO Reno 2.

By integrating the Google CameraX on OPPO smartphones, developers will be able to use OPPO’s imaging technologies like HDR and Beauty capabilities by applying as little as two lines of code without the need for device-specific code.

At GDD China 2019 showed the imaging performance improvement with and without CameraX through CameraX Basic.

Ethan Xue, President of OPPO MEA, said;
OPPO is always committed to creating better user experiences with innovative products for our global users. We are glad to partner with Google’s CameraX to empower developers, build a healthy and open ecosystem and explore more solutions in imaging technologies,” said “We look forward to continuing to drive the development of the most innovative apps in the era of intelligent connectivity and create a better life for our users around the world.
