Huawei is no doubt shaking the whole smartphone market with lots of nice products, one after another. Recently we have posted a detailed hands-on review of Huawei P8 and while we are currently trying our hands on the Huawei Mate S and the Huawei Watch, Huawei is out with their latest flagship device Huawei Mate 8.
The highlighted features of Huawei Mate 8 are Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core processor, Emotion UI 4.0, 6-inch full HD screen with 1080p resolution and 16 MP primary camera. It also comes with the fingerprint scanner, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and 4000 mAh battery.
Considering the amount of memory, there will be three versions of Huawei Mate 8 available. The 3 GB RAM version will be available with 32 GB of internal memory. 64 GB and 128 GB internal memory versions of Huawei Mate 8 will be sporting the huge 4 GB of RAM.
The design of the device is changed a bit from the previous devices of Huawei Mate series. The fingerprint scanner is round is shape and so is the primary camera lens. Also the “screen-to-body ratio” is improved much. CPU and GPU are both improved as well. Though Huawei Mate 8 still comes with a Mali-T880 MP4 which is not the best in the market, it would be good to see how nice it really performs with a better CPU and OS.
