We have posted in December, 2015 itself about the upcoming ASUS ZenFone 3 that it will be released in May, 2016. And now we are having the official information regarding the same, confirming our earlier prediction.
Asus has posted and revealed on its official website about a live event on May 30, 2016 at which Asus is going to introduce new devices in Zen series including the new ZenFone 3 smartphone.
It is also expected that Asus will announce the new Zen tablets, ZenBook notebooks, and a new ZenWatch smartwatch along with the ZenFone 3. Chances are high that some VR products will be announced as well. But so far, nothing is confirmed yet as Asus is not providing any information regarding the devices going to be launched in the event.
We have also posted earlier that it is rumored and expected that the Asus ZenFone 3 will come with a fingerprint scanner making it the first ZenFone with this feature. Also there will be two version of Asus ZenFone 3 – regular and premium version.
According to leaked renders of Asus ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ASUS ZenFone 3 will be having a 2.5D arc glass on both the front and back along with a thin aluminum metal design, dual tone-dual LED flash and a laser auto focus in the camera module and three capacitive navigation keys.
Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe will also have a metal design but with a physical Home button along with two capacitive keys. The hardware specs are or revealed yet but looking at the official event banner, it is easy to understand that Asus ZenFone 3 smartphones will be powered by the Intel chipset.
Since we are still having three weeks time from the event , it is expected that more information will be revealed soon regarding the upcoming Asus ZenFone 3 smartphones.
