One thing that really excites smartphone users is to receive the latest software update. Specially, Android users get the software update very frequently. While for many Android smartphone models Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade is still not available, the next version of Android N is on the way.

When Android 6.0 Marshmallow was launched, HTC was the first brand to come out and release the list of HTC smartphone that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. And now HTC has released the list of HTC smartphones that will receive the Android N update. By releasing this info, HTC has became the first OEM to provide this information officially.


HTC Smartphones getting the Android N Update

During the Google I/O event, HTC has tweeted officially that it will roll out Android N update for HTC 10, One A9 and One M9 smartphones. These three smartphones will be the first set of HTC devices to get the Android N update. And hopefully, more HTC msartphones will be included in this list as well.

HTC also stated that timing for the Android N update roll out and additional HTC devices that will get the Android N update will be announced later this year when the final version of Android N will start shipping to smartpohne manufactureres.


The latest version of Android, Android N brings llots of new features like Multi-window Support, Background Process Optimizations, Notification Enhancements, Data Saver, Direct Boot, TV Recording, support for more than 100 new languages, new emojis in the keyboard and much more.

Google has released the Android N Developer Preview 3 for Nexus series of devices that brings automatic background updates and Virtual Reality mode.
