Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design was launched along with Huawei Mate 9 in the same event. As the name suggests, Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is the premium version of the regular Huawei Mate 9. So it comes with better hardware specs and few changes, here and there.
The major difference is in screen and the design only. Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design comes with 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The amount of RAM is increased from 4 GB to 6 GB as well.
The internal storage is 256 GB and there is no memory card slot provided. Due to smaller size, Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is thinner and weighs less as well with respect to Huawei Mate 9 regular model.
The fingerprint sensor is moved to the front from the back in this variant of Huawei Mate 9. It supports a seamless curved edges, a graphite finish and stylish black color. The back of the device is also having the Porsche Design branding.
