Huawei announced the latest variants of Huawei Watch GT smartwatches at the P30 Series launch event in Paris and the same were mentioned at the Middle East launch event too. And now Huawei Saudi Arabia has confirmed that they will release two innovative versions of the HUAWEI WATCH GT the “Active Edition” and “Elegant Edition” in the coming few days in the Kingdom too.
HUAWEI WATCH GT is designed to deliver capabilities of a smartwatch while providing amazing battery life. Since its launch back in October 2019, more than 1 million units are sold globally, making it Huawei’s best-selling smart watch and the best in its category.
HUAWEI WATCH GT Active Edition comes with the same 46mm watch face as that of HUAWEI WATCH GT Classic Edition and Sport Edition, while the Elegant Edition features a smaller 42mm ceramic bezel option. HUAWEI WATCH GT Active Edition sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD color touchscreen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, while the Elegant Edition comes with with a 1.2-inch AMOLED HD color touchscreen with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels.
HUAWEI WATCH GT uses an innovative dual-chipset and smart power-saving architecture to switch between performance and efficiency modes depending on user's activity to maximize battery life.
HUAWEI WATCH GT Active, Sport and Classic Editions features two-week battery life with typical use including: all day wear and heart rate function activated, scientific sleeping function activated at night, 90 minutes of exercise per week and message notification. The Elegant Edition comes with a smaller battery life of up to one week. If used as traditional watch by turning off the smart features, the HUAWEI WATCH GT can stay charged for up to 30 days.
The previous version of HUAWEI Watch GT support a broad range of indoor and outdoor fitness activities and the new HUAWEI WATCH GT Active Edition and Elegant Edition feature Triathlon mode. Three types of workout - Open Water Swimming, Outdoor Cycling, and Outdoor Running are supported under Triathlon. Triathlon mode will be available on the HUAWEI WATCH GT Classic and Sport Edition via an OTA update.
Using the HUAWEI TruSeen™ 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology, the HUAWEI WATCH GT supports continuous 24-hours heart rate monitoring tracking active and resting heart rates in real time with high precision. In Sport mode, the HUAWEI WATCH GT can be set up to notify individuals to adjust the intensity of their workout based on a pre-set target heart rate interval to stay on the safe side. In rest mode, the smart watch automatically monitors and records the resting heart rate of users.
TruSleep™ 2.0 scientific sleep tracking on HUAWEI Watch GT monitor user's sleep quality, accurately identify typical sleep issues and offer you over 200 suggestions for improvement of sleep quality and personalized sleep services by real-time heart rate monitoring, sleep breathing and big data analysis, for better health management.
On both HUAWEI WATCH GT Active Edition and Elegant Edition, variety of watch faces are provided to suit your mood and occasions like a birthday party, workout, or work. Watch faces will also be available for the HUAWEI WATCH GT Classic and Sport Editions after an OTA update.
