HP is one of the leading brand for various products like Laptops, Desktop Computer, Calculators etc. But when it comes to the Printers, HP is considered as the best brand in the entire world. I am having an All-in-One HP Deskjet F380 since last few years which works perfectly for all my regular needs. And recently I got the HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP. I am using it since last few weeks and now I am going to share my experience with you all here.
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is a multifunction device which works as the printer, scanner, fax and copier. So, it is just a perfect device for all small and medium businesses (SMB). I am going to cover the review of HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP in various sections mentioning pros and cons of each.
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP : Hands-on Review
Design
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is having a nice design. It is having the combination of smooth curves and sharp edges which gives it a unique look. All of the function keys for the fax and copier are given on the upper side. The small display is in the middle of the buttons. The display of HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is big enough to show all the important stuff and the sky blue backlit looks beautiful too.
The only button on the front is the power button. Rest all ports are on the back side where you can connect power cords, Ethernet, USB cable etc.
Scanner
The scanner of HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP comes with the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) which let you scan multi-page documents easily. The scanner is best for the A4 size documents. Even though the scanning speed is not too fast but it is better than many other MFP available in the market. And it is at least four times faster than my HP Deskjet F380. The quality of scanning is nearly same in both. The scanned image lacks details a bit but not bad for the regular uses.
Printer
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP performs really nice when it comes to printing. The printing speed is also good. The first page comes out in nearly 8 seconds and more than 20 pages in a minute only. The main tray capacity is of 250 sheets which is good enough for personal use, home office etc. HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is having the Duplexer feature which let you print on both side of the paper automatically without causing any trouble. It saves your paper, time and also the environment.
The text comes really in high quality on the print and images are also not bad in quality. The image printing on HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP lacks luster but good enough for regular personal and office uses.
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is having the AirPrint and ePrint support. But unfortunately, it is not having the WiFi capabilities. Using the AirPrint feature, you can print anything right from your Apple devices. All you have to do is to connect your HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP and the Apple device to the Internet network.

ePrint is a nice feature of HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP which let you print something from anywhere in the world. Using ePrint is simple and very effective for SMB. All you have to do is to connect your HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP printer to the Internet and assign an email to your printer. You can either use the unique email address generated by the HP ePrint Center or change it to some other email of your choice.

HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is having lots of features which are mentioned above and all of them works pretty well. It is not just the regular MFP and having the features like AirPrint, ePrint, ADF and Duplexer. HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is an ENERGY STAR® qualified MFP. So, it consumes less electricity, saves your money and environment.
The only thing which I really, really didn't like in HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is the lack of WiFi functionality. WiFi devices are getting more and more common and people are trying to get rid of the wires, specially at the work place and offices. It would just make the HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP the best MFP in its segment, if it had the WiFi connectivity.
Conclusion
HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is a great device for home office, SMB and personal uses. AirPrint, ePrint, Duplexer, Automatic Document Feeder, superior quality text printing, fast performance makes it much better than other MFPs of its segment. If you are looking for an affordable monochrome multifunction laser printer then, HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP is for you.
