1. Go to your Google Webmaster account.

2. Click on the site name which you would like to associate with your YouTube channel


3. On the left sidebar menu, click on the Configuration and then Associates link as shown in the image above.

4. On the new page, click on the "Add A New User" option.

5. In the pop-up window, type the email id which you use to log in to your YouTube account. Also, mark the YouTube option as shown in the image given below.


6. Click on the Add button to save the changes you have just made to your account.

7. Now, go to URL YouTube.com/Verify and verify your phone number with your YouTube channel. You can either select a voice call or verification code delivered to your phone to verify your phone number.

There are many features like videos URL annotations and video uploading of unlimited length which are available only to users having a verified phone number linked to their YouTube channel. So, it is important to have a verified phone number linked to your YouTube account.

Now, Your YouTube channel is associated officially with your website. You can verify it by going to the "Associated Website" of YouTube Channel Settings of your account. If you want, later you can remove this association directly from your YouTube account.
