Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few days you'll have heard all about launching of Apple's two new flagship phones - the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C.

It was an event that had huge expectation but ultimately left consumers and investors disappointed, reflected by the 5% drop in Apple Share prices after the launch of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C which is a bit of a blow to the Cupertino based tech giant.

It begs the question, does the iPhone lack enough game changing features to really be considered innovative anymore? Much of the new technology in the iPhone 5S has been around in Android devices for a considerable amount of time, and there's plenty of things that Android devices do easily that Apple still can't; such as multi tasking, 3GB of Ram, Pure HD video and more as highlighted by infographic below from www.ContractPhonesWithFreeGifts.com .

The problem is Apple seems intent on holding technology back to maximize sales, this served them well when the smartphone market wasn't crowded but with Samsung, LG, HTC and a number of other manufacturers all pushing the boundaries they are in danger of falling behind and losing market share.

Are you happy with the new devices from Apple? Do they do enough to warrant such a high price tag? Let us know in the comments.
