Samsung Gear IconX was revealed earlier in leaked images before its launch and now it is launched officially by Samsung along with the Samsung Gear Fit2 fitness tracker. Samsung Gear IconX is a fitness tracking earphones that can track and monitor your heat rate, speed, distance, duration of the physical activities and the calories burnt during the process.

One interesting thing about Samsung Gear IconX is that it provides the activity data through the voice assistance even without a smartphone connected to it. Just like the Gear Fit2, it also comes with a standalone music player to transfer music between the Gear IconX and your smartphone with the Samsung Gear application.

Once connected via Bluetooth, it can also transfer the real-time heart rate data to some third-party applications. To activate the Samsung Gear IconX for using it, you just need to place it in your ears. The touchpad is located on the earbud and just with a tap and hold on it, you can launch the activity tracking process and start getting the real-time status updates.
