Few days back HTC launched two new smartphones HTC Bolt and HTC 10 Evo with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed and started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to HTC 10 smartphones.
Huawei also introduced the Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro and Mate 9 Porche Design flagship smartphones last month running on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Emotion UI 5.0 on them. And now Huawei is going to provide the Android 7.0 Nougat update to few of its recent flagship devices too.
Huawei has confirmed a small list of Huawei smartphones that will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update soon. It contains few of the latest and some older flagship devices launched by Huawei recently.
Huawei is planning to roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update staring from Q1 2017 for its smartphones. According to Huawei, Huawei Mate 8 and Huawei P9 smartphones will be the first two devices to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update first. Rest of the Huawei smartphones in this list will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update few weeks after that.
Below is the list of Huawei smartphones that are confirmed to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update in Q1, 2017.

Huawei did not say antyng about the older flagships like Huawei Mate S, P8, P8 Max etc. that whether they will receive the update or not, sooner or late. Also there is no information about the mid-range Huawei smartphones like G7 or tablets like MediaPad M3 whether they will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update or not.
But it is expected that Huawei will add more devices to this list in the future and provide the Android 7.0 Nougat update to few older devices too.
Regarding the new EMUI 5.0 that comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat update, Huawei said:
