Microsoft announced that Skype integration will roll out soon to Outlook.com users of UK in this week. But users of USA will have to wait a little longer than the rest of the world. Hopefully , it will be available to all Outlook.com users very soon.

So from the next time. you will be able to use the Skype right from your web browser instead of spending time on opening the Skype manually. 1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in to your account.

2. If the Skype for Outlook is available on your account, you will get an option to merge your Outlook.com account with your Skype accounts.

3. Once you visit the merging option, it will ask you to sign in with your Skype account. Sign in using your Skype credentials.

4. Now, just download all the necessary browser plugins required to integrate Skype to your Outlook.com inbox.

Keep in mind that this browser plugin is not needed for instant messaging but only for the audio and video calls using Skype on Outlook.com. So, if you just want to use instant messaging of Skype on Outlook.com then, you do not need to download this browser plugin.

5. Once all the required browser plug-ins are downloaded and installed, you will be able to see the Skype audio and video calling buttons and your Skype contacts in the IM conversations.
