Few days back, I got the Orion Pro gaming headset for the review purpose from Asus. And the review of the device is given below in detail.
The looks of the Asus Orion Pro gaming headset is good. The red and black color scheme gives it a gaming look instantly. You can see the ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) logo located on both of the ear cups.The mic is retractable and attached to the left side. It can be easily tucked away if you do not need it.
As obvious, cups are adjustable and padded thick enough to give you comfort for long gaming sessions. There is a padding on the top as well for extra comfort.
Asus is popular for its nice audio cards. So, you can something good in this device too. RoG Spitfire USB Sound Card is the most highlighted feature of the Asus Orion Pro. It offers three different sound modes for better and desired gaming experience. You can activate any of these audio modes by a single touch. The FPS (First Person Shooter) audio mode provides amazing audio clarity for all the actions, firing and explosions. Also, you get a new level of FPS gaming with nice positional awareness, thanks to the virtual 7.1 surround sound in the Surround mode.
The passive noise cancellation provided is good but not so great as well. Though the FPS and Surround works pretty well, Amp (amplifier mode) does not add much to the performance of the device while gaming.

The 7 Best Bluetooth Headsets for Safe Driving
Though it is a gaming headset, you can obviously use it for listening music as well. For a nice music experience, you will have to turn off the Surround and FPS mode. Amp mode works good for listening music. But if you are a basshead, turn on the FPS mode and enjoy some deep bass with your favorite Trance tracks.
If you are a gamer then this one is for you. It provides a nice gaming experience with the RoG Spitfire USB sound card. The design is good to provide comfort for hours of gameplay. And the price is really very competitive with respect to other gaming headsets available in the market.
